Festivities have just begun for bookworms as Barnes and Noble is offering 50 per cent off on hardcover books as a part of its 2022 annual sale on two different dates before the end of the year.
The book publisher holds the sale annually, giving away books at half price on certain days. But, do not confuse this with a similar offer on its online shopping site, which has Buy 1 Get 1 throughout the year.
The exciting deals are only available for an extremely limited period. So, here’s how you can be a part of Barnes and Noble’s 2022 sale on hardcover before it’s too late.
Barnes and Noble’s 2022 hardcover sale dates
Barnes and Noble announced on their official Twitter handle yesterday that they will be having a sale on their hardcover books on December 26 and 27, the same as last year.
But, the offers are only available for in-store purchases – not online.
The announcement read: “Today and tomorrow all of our #hardcover #books are 50% off. Yes, you read that right. Before you ask, we are including the one book you’re thinking about right now. Why? Because we love you.”
The discounts are available until supplies last.
The company’s online shopping site has had offers on books throughout the year.
With a few more days until we ring in the new year, you can still grab your favorite books across different categories at half-price on Barnes and Noble’s official shopping site.
The “Buy One, Get One 50% Off Books’ gives you 50 per cent credit off the list price of the lower-cost item. The offer is valid from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022.
When you purchase two qualifying items under the “Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off: Books for All Ages” category, a 50 per cent credit on your lower-priced item will appear at checkout.

30 per cent off on film collection
For those who aren’t as much into reading and enjoy watching something, Barnes and Noble is giving away a number of classic movies at a 30 per cent discount.
WALL-E, Malcolm X, Citizen X, Sound of Metal, and more are available under the offer. These films are available at 4k UHD.
You can also choose movies from a range of genres, such as Women Filmmakers, Asian Cinema Latin-American Voices, LGBTQIA+ and more.
